As you know last week Mary started Radiation and Chemotherapy. She received Radiation Monday – Wednesday, and has been taking Chemotherapy pills (Temodar) every night since Monday. So far she hasn’t been sick or had any obvious side effects. They say it will take two to three weeks to see any side effects from Radiation. The chemotherapy is different in everyone. This Tuesday (11/28) she will start the IV chemotherapy. That will take about an hour and a half to two hours once a week. Mary still wants to do everything but is having to learn she needs to rest more for now. Short visits seem to work good if she is awake already. We have walked a few times just to get out of the house and move around. Friday we walked for an hour and a half, which was a good walk. Keep praying for her motor functions to get better. As always we thank you for your prayers and support.

  • Hey friends....I'm so glad you have been faithful to keep us updated on how things are going, it's helpful in how to know to pray. Since you're going to be having a lengthy sit for IV treatments, I'm making you some cd's to listen to at your leisure to just bask in His Presence while you go through this journey. Love you!!!!!!
