Last Post 3/8/2010

As most of you know Mary went to be with Jesus on February 19th. I am sure she heard "well done thou good and faitful servant, enter in..." The last words she was able to speak to me was a couple of days before she passed away when I was laying down next to her. She point at something and looked at me and said, "Jesus loves me and Jesus loves you." Now she is dancing with the angels and singing and talking as we all knew Mary did. She fought a good fight until the last minute, She never lost sight that God was still on the Throne and in control. I don't understand why it had to be this way but God's way are higher than mine and someday I will understand. Her Memorial service was just what Mary would have wanted. There is not enought space here to thank all the people that did everything they could for us. I feel like we are the most blessed family ever with all the love and support we have recieved. Mary impacted a lot of lives in her 52 years, most of them serving the Lord and telling people about Jesus. Even on her last day she looked up and smiled the best she could. I will remember her laugh and her smile forever. I always said Mary was the best thing God blessed me with in my life. As much as I miss her I know I will see her again.

Thank you to everyone that has been there, not only for us but with us.

  • Bob I go back to the walks I had with Mary and the conversations we had about so much. I'm not very good with superficial conversation and Mary was always ready to dig into the meat with me. I don't understand either why... but I know I was blessed also to have Mary as my friend and confidante. I pray that God gives you the peace and comfort only He can supply. Thank You for sharing your wife with me and Thank You for sharing the Love of Jesus with my sons and me... Hug the girls often as that is what Mary would have wanted!! Love you all!!

  • bob, I don't know if you ever come back here, but if you do, well, you don't know me, but I know about 3 and a half years of your life now. I'm sorry. Its almost Christmas now, and I hope you have found a way for it to be merry. My step father just spent about the same length of time with cancer, only offset about 9 months. He passed yesterday afternoon, 4 days before Christmas. But as I said, I hope you have found a way to be merry. We will all be there for his wife, and we know what we are up against. Be Well, and Merry Christmas.
