Surgery Scheduled

We met with the Brain Surgeon today. Surgery is scheduled for next Tuesday (3/10/09) We are waiting for confirmation but as of now she needs to be there at 6:00am for all the preparation stuff. I will let you know as soon as I do what time the actual surgery is scheduled for. The surgeon seamed more positive than he was a couple of years ago. I think seeing how well Mary was doing had an impact on him. He has not seen many GBM patients go this long considering how large Mary's first Tumor was. We know God is in control and maybe through this, God can use Mary to bring the surgeon to know Christ. You never know what God may do or how he will do it.

Your prayers are always appreciated and felt. Pray for Dr. Dixit also.

Mary has an appointment Monday at 11:30 with the Brain Surgeon. They don't want to give this thing anytime to grow. I will keep you updated.

It's been a long time

It's been a long time since we posted anything because it's been a long time since anything has changed. Over the past two and a half years Mary has continued to get better. The only evidence of anything was an area of her hair not growing back. In December she had a seizer. They did and MRI and saw nothing had changed and her blood counts continued to get better. Yesterday (2/25/09) when we went for her regular eight week MRI. This one shows a recurrence. A small spot in the middle of where the original tumar was remove. Today the doctors will meet and discuss what options Mary has. He Oncologist is leaning toward surgery for two reasons. One remove what ever it is and two, be able to analyze what it is. There are going to be some other options but we have not heard them all yet. Please keep Mary in prayer for clarity and wisdom in making decisions. As well as praying for the doctors. We have appreciated you prayers through out this time and know God has moved on her because of you prayers.
